Tiwanaku Alien and the News Media
The interests of the rich embody implementation and maintenance of a steady surroundings the place they pay little or no taxes and thus get richer. For whatever motive, and maybe rightly, aliens -clever beings from other planets- are and have at all times been perceived as the greatest risk to that stable environment. Thus, it isn't shocking that the media has turned their propaganda machine towards aliens. For a lot of a long time now, the public has been often bombarded with each quack (simply falsifiable or unprovable) principle there is about aliens, including fairly a few UFO pictures and abduction stories, all in an effort to fully discredit aliens. In the meantime, genuinely strong arguments for aliens, like the Tiwanaku drawings of an aquatic creature inside a helmeted spacesuit, will never see the light of day in any media outlet.
Aliens have been so closely discredited by the media that the present outlook for them is bleak. Certainly, the state of affairs is now so unhealthy that a large alien spacecraft may come to rest a few toes above the White House and it is perhaps efficiently explained away as a secret experiment to guard the president. It appears nothing could be performed to convince anybody that aliens exist. Even the scientific group has been engulfed by the media blitz. Thus, no archaeologist is prone to ever express what he would possibly assume: Hey, those Tiwanaku drawing actually do appear to be an alien, plus they explain the Nazca Lines. Such a remark might result in the fast termination of an archaeology career.
While aliens stay public enemy number 1, they aren't perceived as the only threat to low taxation rates for the rich. In my nation, the United States, for example, one other menace comes by means of politicians who're open to tax increases, and the media has turned their wrath towards them as well. Thus, within the congressional elections of 2010, we discover that the nation's elderly and poor flocked to the polls by the millions to vote for politicians that promised to denationalise social safety, to cut Medicare advantages and well being care programs, to chop food stamps, and to scale back unemployment advantages and each different type of benefit for the less fortunate, all for the purpose of helping to pay for continued and expanded tax reductions for the nation's billionaires.
I am certain the aged and poor of that country will tell you that they used their judgment in making their voting decisions and can by no means admit to being duped. The brainwashing methods employed by the media are extraordinarily delicate and it takes an skilled to detect them. I gives you an example. In an uncommon (very rare) event that I was exposed to TV final 12 months, I noticed that a major information network was operating the next poll: Do you imagine that Barrack Obama is the Antichrist? In fact, an accountable and respectable nationwide news community has no enterprise running a ballot like that especially contemplating that there is no such thing as a laborious proof that the Antichrist is alive in contemporary occasions not to mention it being the duly elected president of the United States. In any case, with countless millions of Individuals overtly declaring their president to be the Antichrist, from where it follows that his supporters in Congress (members of his political celebration) are all demons, it is simple to see why the aged and poor voted for politicians who promised to do them harm.
In historical instances and later it was kings and queens versus servants, in medieval instances it was feudal lords versus fiefs, in Russia it was landlords versus serfs, in American it was slave house owners versus slaves, and in modern instances it is known as wealthy versus poor. Hundreds of years of human historical past have passed by however there was no fundamental change in human inclinations to dominate and management other humans. Only contact with aliens would possibly alter these inclinations.

Things just got interesting... or boring.
![]() |
| Daniels has this much % chance of running. |
Huck - Out.
Trump - Out.
Pence - Out.
If anyone thinks they know, or say they know what is going on - they don't. Politics is constantly a changing game, and a lot depends on what the "other guy/girl" does. With Daniels out, we have 4 "Big" names for sure out... that in November we thought would play a big roll in what happens. Now, like I said, we can't really know what is going to happen, we have to evaluate things step by step. Aside from those four, I don't think we can say for sure that anyone else is 'Out'.
What we can do is watch to see where momentum is mounting. That is the fun part of politics, you get to watch things happen... as if it were in slow motion. So let's look at the momentum areas, all of "Indiana" is out, so let us focus in on various groups:
- The Minnesota Delegation:
- Bachmann & Pawlenty: They can't run together, that would cut out Minnesota's Electoral College votes... but they both might run. Pawlenty has a lot of the same problems that some of the folks choosing not to run have... and Bachmann may actually be hurt by so many of the middle of the road moderates dropping out.
- The Young Guns:
- Paul Ryan & Marco Rubio have said they aren't running... oh really? Something tells me the pressure mounts on these folks from the "draft" folks. These guys are going to be "pulling on some heartstrings" ... problem is they are unknown quantities on the national stage.
- The "Retro Crowd":
- Santorum, Romney, Ron Paul, Newt, Rudy - Now I am not saying these are all birds of a feather, but I am saying that they have been here before, and a lot of people are going to start saying, "See, I told you we should have gone with ________ in 2008." This might help some, and hurt others.
- The "I can't believe they
arearen't running" crowd: - JEB & CHRISTIE - If you would have asked your typical everyday Republican a year ago whether Jeb & Christie should run, they would have probably laughed and said no, they can run their state but the country would never rally behind them. Well, it is now 2011 and folks are going to start begging these guys to run... if they haven't already.
- The Man & The Woman:
- At this moment, there are two people who I believe take center stage. That isn't to say they are going to get the win here, but the momentum and focus shift to them. Herman Cain and Sarah Palin. One is in... the other holds the pendulum. Herman Cain came in as a conservative "sentimental favorite" of folks like Erick Erickson and now seems to have a ton of the "conservative" support. Palin - what she does (or doesn't do) will have a huge affect on almost everyone else.
- The ? Marks:
- There are a few names out there, that I think could jump into the race or could have an affect now that we have seen so many "Big names" drop out. Folks like Gary Johnson, Huntsman, Rick Perry. I know some will run, and some have said they wont, but people will put a focus on them until the picture gets more clear. Also, folks like Jindal and Barbour
- Cain: Is he a marathon runner? Can he grab the reins and hold on through this whole process? If so can he raise money? Who would be a "rumored" running mate for him as we get to the point where that becomes important? Does he peak too soon?
- Romney: Love him, hate him, it doesnt matter - this guy is here and is raising billions, literally. McCain showed us that if you raise money, and can keep yourself from being labeled you might have the best chance. No one really knows where this guys stands on anything... his greatest strength is his greatest weakness.
- Pawlenty: What is this guys deal? If you asked me or other Catholics who we wanted once Pence was gone... this was the quick answer in January. Now with folks like Bachmann, Cain, and Palin around he doesn't seem to be the shining star. I know a lot about the guy, and I have no idea what he is like. I know this sounds shallow, but the name might hurt him, and his quiet conservative way might as well.
- Christie: He probably
won'twillwon'twillwon'twillrun. I have no idea what this guy is going to do, which is what makes him such a force in this situation. The GOP needs strong, agressive, and bold leadership. They need a candidate that makes 2008 Barack Hussein Obama look like boring. If Palin doesn't run, look to him to become a major focus. (You could also see Jeb doing the same thing here). - Palin: She is on the "clock" so she is the one everyone will be looking at to make her decision. I think her decision will influence a lot of 'Outs' one way or the other. So folks like Jeb, Christie, Ryan and Rubio will be heavily influenced one way or the other depending on what she does. Not only for fundraising reasons, but for spotlight reasons. Palin draws - love her or hate her, she draws, all the guys I mentioned are big names, but pale compared to Palin... that is important for many reasons, it might even make one of them an underdog, something they are not used to but could capitalize on. I think she is the biggest focus and will be long after her decision. If she throws 'In' - she becomes the instant #1, if she doesn't run - she becomes a focus not only for V.P. but also for who she backs and what she does between now and Nov. 2012.

Presidential Ponderings (Mobile Update)
A quick update- from my phone.
I just checked Facebook, and it appears Michele Bachmann is about to throw her hat in the ring. She posted on Facebook about 20 minutes ago that she wants to know what her fans think about an article speculating what we already know.
As many of you know, I am supportive Palin in many endeavors. Palin and Bachmann are not always on the same page. There are a lot of people though that dislike both for the same reasons.
All that being said, I believe Bachmann is pretty authentic and true. Love her or dislike her, you're getting what the package says. I think she adds value to the Republican race and will help frame the debate well.
Can she ultimately get the nod, and defeat Obama? I don't think anyone can honestly answer that question yet... that's why they start running over a year out. Regardless, I believe this helps the Conservative cause.

Obummer
Things are starting to look shaky with the whole OBL/UBL raid. Not so much the raid, as with the handling from the POTUS end of things and the media. Is anyone surprised?
Lots of conflicting stories, I know this will take time to sort out but things aren't looking good. I even have said I support the 'Burial at Sea' and 'Refusal to Publish the Photo.' I am starting to reconsider both. I was a tad naive, and thought that both were done with the purest of intentions. Like I said, I was naive. I am starting to think that there may be more to it. On top of that radical Islamic media has begun to call the area of the 'Burial' the Sea of Martyrs. Woops? I guess it would have happened regardless.
I just worry that there is more to this story than meets the eye. I know a lot of things can be explained away and justified but the things that worry me are that there is a question of whether folks in OBL's compound were armed. (I have a hard time believing they weren't.) There is also a question of whether OBL was captured then assassinated/executed?
I guess we will just have to have some patience and wait and see. I am just not as confident in the story coming from Mr. President as I was 2 days ago. Obummer.

The Photo - a quick take.
After reports that Bin Laden was dead, there were all sorts of "stories" coming out about how and when he died, how they confirmed it, and what was going to happen with the body. Well, the short version is they "buried him at sea." Now I can't talk about motive, but we do know that there was a desire to "respect" the body and to prevent as much danger as possible to our troops. We know our soldiers have been treated in the past, and we wanted no part in doing the same. Nor should we have disrespected his body in any way. We need to do these things with as much moral integrity as possible, and eliminate as many opportunities for the enemy to feed on things to use against our troops.
Now I know they dont need reasons, to hate and attack us, but the decision to release the photo does nothing but attempt to satisfy doubters. The doubters wont be satisfied even with the photos, so then they only become a catalyst for action against us. Again, I don't know the "real intentions" behind the decision not to release them, and I do see the arguments on the other side - I just don't think we need to do it. We are America, he are supposed to be an example of justice to the world. Bin Laden is dead, that fact can't change - if it is a fact. Therefore a picture does nothing except brag. He is dead. God have mercy on his soul.

Michele Bachmann: The New Contender
![]() |
| The Contender? - Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R) - Minnesota |
Michele Bachmann, it has been reported will form a presidential exploratory committee. We
Politico.com explains:
There are likely candidates who are just as conservative as Bachmann (Rick Santorum) and others who have equally legitimate claims to outsider status (Herman Cain), but she may offer the most complete package for voters looking for an unapologetic anti-establishment Republican. The chair of the House’s Tea Party caucus, Bachmann has the right social conservative credentials—down-the-line on the issues, a foster mother of 23 and an Oral Roberts law grad—and is mostly pure on fiscal matters since she voted against TARP and now opposes earmarks after initially requesting them when she came to Congress. The interesting thing will be to see how she and Palin co-exist on the same stage, should Palin throw her hat in. While neither are Catholic, I think that Catholics could easily support Bachmann as a candidate much the way they could support a candidate like Mike Pence.
What separates her from the pack is that, with the possible exception of Palin, she can speak to conservative activists like no other candidate. She knows how to grab their attention on cable TV, talk radio and the internet—and it’s not Paul Ryan-esque budget graph wonkery. The question will be can she grab those disillusioned folk who don't identify with party politics and just want the America we all knew and loved back? She has flaws, as we all do, but that is actually what makes her stronger. She is up front about her flaws, and doesn't put band-aids over them. She learns from them, and uses them to keep her focused on her virtues and principles.
She is the real deal, and she is a major contender if not, the contender right now for the GOP nomination.

Egypt: The revolution is being televised...sort of
![]() |
| Al Jazeera Photo |
What’s happening? Inspired by the recent protests that led to the fall of the Tunisian government and the ousting of longtime Tunisian dictator Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, Egyptians have joined other protesters across the Arab world (in Algeria, notably) in protesting their autocratic governments, high levels of corruption, and grinding poverty. In Egypt, tens of thousands of protesters have taken to the streets.
Why are Egyptians unhappy? They have basically no more freedom than Tunisians. Egypt is ranked 138th of 167 countries on The Economist’s Democracy index, a widely accepted measure of political freedom. That ranking puts Egypt just seven spots ahead of Tunisia. And Egyptians are significantly poorer than their cousins to the west.
![]() |
| AP Photo - 1/25/11 |
The main struggle seems to be between demonstrators which seem to mostly be youth and students, and the police. January 25th is a holiday to celebrate the police allegedly, and so the reason for the intensification of the protesting and the out-lash against them seems to have some connection. The odd thing is that the protestors seem to be welcoming and even cheering the army.
A big catalyst for this problem is the fact that President Mubarak has waged an info-war. The internet has been "shut-down", media outlets are completely ignoring the protests, the ministry of information is sending certain newscasters on vacation, and state controlled TV is showing areas of complete peace and calm. This is all in juxtaposition to the various news outlets that are getting information out, and then back into Egypt. Much of the demonstration is occurring near and around the Ministry of Information, the National Democratic Party (The Ruling Party), and other state news information buildings. The people need our prayers so please pray for peace and safety - but also freedom for the people. This is a pretty fluid situation, and a good source of information is honestly Al Jazeera - English which is broadcasting a lot of live images. The odd thing to watch is that the military is being welcome by the protestors while the police are being attacked... this might be the beginning to a much larger situation...
**UPDATE - 12:48 ET**:
Hilary Clinton spoke about 30 minutes ago on the subject, spent about 10 minutes and moved on. It was actually very odd. Now Egyptian State TV has announced that a curfew has been imposed for all areas. Also, the Internet is still "Off" and the flow of information is very limited in the country. Getting news out from international sources seems to continue to flow as of right now, but any information between folks on the ground there is almost non-existent.
N.B.:
I will continue to post further updates on the blog's Twitter feed, on the left side bar. It is rather cumbersome to update the post itself. Unless of course there is a need for more than 140 characters.

Breaking: CNN Reports - "Pence rules out 2012 bid"
![]() |
| Mike Pence - (R) Indiana | CNN Photo |
(CNN) – Two sources close to Republican Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana tell CNN they are told he will announce he is not running for president in 2012 and will instead begin exploring a run for governor.
These sources say he has been flattered by the efforts to nudge him into the GOP presidential race but, as one of the sources put it, "he is a realist and kept coming back to questions about the fund-raising." The second source said some around Pence also have reminded him of the difficulty of mounting a presidential campaign from the House, and noted that, at age 51, he would have a better platform to explore a presidential run if he first was elected governor.
The Republican congressman from Indiana's 6th Congressional District easily won re-election in November, beating his Democratic challenger by more than a two- to-one margin.
The third ranking House Republican then announced that he would step down at the end of the year from his leadership role as Republican Conference Chairman, sparking more speculation that Pence might be gearing up for a White House bid or a run for Indiana governor.
The current governor, Republican Mitch Daniels, is term limited, and also the subject of speculation over a possible White House bid. Indiana Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman, also a Republican, announced late last month that she would not make a bid for the state's top job, increasing speculation that Pence would run for Indiana governor.
While Pence polls in the low single digits in most national surveys on a hypothetical 2012 GOP nomination match-up, he did create a lot of buzz by winning the presidential straw poll at the Values Voter Summit in September.
Earlier this month, two separate groups launched efforts to draft Pence make a bid for the White House.
If he announces for governor, a state ethics law passed last year would prevent Pence from campaigning immediately for the job. The measure prohibi
ts political fundraising by candidates for statewide office until the completion of the state legislature's session, which this year is scheduled to finish up in late April.

Breaking: House votes to repeal ObamaCare!
From Politico:
Now, we can't get too excited. Obviously, the democratic held Senate will likely not vote the same way, but it is time to start praying [*thanks for the edit Restore DC-Catholicism].House Republicans passed a bill to repeal President Barack Obama’s health care plan Wednesday, taking their first major step toward rolling back the massive overhaul that has dominated the American political landscape for almost two years.
Speaker John Boehner discusses the vote | AP photo
The vote was 245 to 189, and unanimous GOP opposition gave the vote the same partisan feel of the March vote to pass the law, underscoring once again the hardened political lines of the health care debate. Only three Democrats backed the repeal, a smaller number than Republicans had once predicted.
The bill will head next to the Senate, where Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has promised to block it. If it did receive a vote, the repeal bill would be unlikely to draw support from even a majority of senators. Even so, House Republican leaders have challenged Reid to give the bill a vote since Democrats, who control the chamber, have little to fear.
Republicans rejected a procedural maneuver by the Democratic minority to make repeal ineffective unless a majority of the House and Senate withdraw from the federal health benefits program within 30 days after passage by each chamber.
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said the effort was “an attempt to derail an appeal of the Obamacare bill.”
House members flooded the floor throughout the day, delivering short but occasionally impassioned speeches that echoed their party’s talking points.
Obama-care is the equivalent of putting a square tire on a car that has a flat. Sure, it is theoretically is an improvement because it isn't flat - but it sure as heck isn't going to help the car go anywhere. There are a multitude of problems with our health-care system, but throwing a voluminous bill that no one has read and can't understand its implications, isn't the way to go about fixing it. Add to that the fact that the bill is has awful pro-abortion components to it, the plan needs to be scrapped.

Alaska state senate republicans 'Not Convinced' that taxes are a job-killer

| Gov. Sean Parnell |
JUNEAU -- The 2011 session of the Alaska Legislature began Tuesday with senators saying Gov. Sean Parnell's proposal to slash oil taxes could have a hard time getting passed before lawmakers go home.
"I've heard a lot of pushback among legislators just from chatting in the hallway about it," said Senate President Gary Stevens, a Republican from Kodiak. "It's going to be a hard sell."Parnell is asking the Legislature to agree to cut taxes by an estimated $5 billion between 2013 and 2017. It's an issue likely to dominate while the Legislature is in session for the next three months.
Sen. Gary Stevens
Parnell and top Republicans in the state House describe the profits tax as a job killer. But key senators are not convinced and say they need to get more information about the impact of the oil tax system imposed under Gov. Sarah Palin in 2007.
Particularly contentious could be the Republican Parnell's plan to lower the base production tax rate from 25 percent to 15 percent for new oil fields. It's a piece of his broader effort to lower taxes. The article goes on to explain that studies are inconclusive as to whether high taxes have a negative effect on oil companies investing and expanding operations in the state. What is bothersome is that it is simple: taxes mean less money to the companies, meaning they get less dollar-for-dollar on their investment. The worst part is that the tax is profit based and actually increases as oil prices go up:"The chance of it going to 15 (percent) is slim," said Sitka Republican Sen. Bert Stedman, who is co-chair of the Senate Finance Committee.

Much of the complaint about the profits tax is how it rises from the base rate of 25 percent when oil prices go up. The Revenue Department said the tax is about 33 percent when oil is at $75 a barrel. Parnell wants to change how the curve works. It is easy folks: Taxes are bad. They hurt jobs, profits, the economy, and small woodland creatures. Less taxes is good - always.

Cardinal Pell: Politicians can't be 'Cap't Catholic' one minute then vote contrary to the Church's teachings
In an interview given to the Sunday Herald Sun, Cardinal Pell sent a strong message to Catholic politicians, one that echoes the sentiments of our own Archbishop Charles Chaput. Cardinal Pell's primary point is that it is wrong to claim to be Catholic but then to cast votes that go against the teachings of the Church. From his SHS interview:
"If a person says, 'Look, I'm not a Christian, I've a different set of perspectives', I disagree but I understand," the Archbishop of Sydney said. This is a common element for many Catholic politicians in this country, especially those on the Democratic side of the aisle. They use the will of the people as their excuse to vote a certain way. What they fail to understand that running a campaign, or putting yourself in a position to be a Catholic that votes against the teachings of the Church is wrong. As Cardinal Pell says, to be 'Cap't Catholic' or to simply claim to be Catholic brings with it certain responsibilities. First and foremost amongst those responsibilities is to vote to uphold the teachings of the Church.
"If a person says to me, 'Look, I'm nominally a Christian but it sits lightly with me', I understand that.
"But it's incongruous for somebody to be a Captain Catholic one minute, saying they're as good a Catholic as the Pope, then regularly voting against the established Christian traditions."
Cardinal Pell explained:
He said: "To the extent that on a significant number of issues you depart from Christian teachings you know it's incongruous to be billing yourself as a champion of Christian rights. And the Catholic Church doesn't teach the primacy of conscience. You know if somebody said apartheid was all right, nobody would say, 'Yes you can say that because of the primacy of conscience'."This message needs to be heard by more politicians far and wide. We need more Bishops, Cardinals and priests that are willing to stand up and proclaim the true teachings of the Church. We need our clergy to demand that our Catholic politicians act properly and hold them to task when they don't. I support the denial of Communion for those that consistently promote positions incongruous with the Church's teachings. We can't convince the faithful to uphold the teachings of the faith, if we aren't holding those in the public eye to the same standard.
