Aerotek CE is seeking a Fabric Quality Engineer in Spartanburg, SC
The Fabric Quality Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving the quality system as pertaining to Fabric Department. The Fabric Quality Engineer will work to meet the goals of the company as related to Quality and will ensure that the Fabric Department remains compliant with all applicable procedures and standards to remain compliant with TS16949
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass the Munsell color/shade test
- Knowledge of TS16949
- Experience in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Ability to travel to customers locations on short notice.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, plan and solve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Lean manufacturing experience. Previous auditing skills (preferred)
- CQE (Preferred)
- Experience with T516949:2002 (preferred) or ISO 9001 (at minimum)
- Team player
- Problem solver / Logical thinker experienced with 8D, 5 Why, 5P methodology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, MS Project
- Statistical skills (Minitab or similar, SPC, Capability studies, DOE, F&T testing etc.)
- Six sigma (preferred)
- Control plans/FMEA/PPAP
- Ability to Multi task with ease
- Self motivated
