1. Well balanced diet
Eating a well balanced diet is essential for great skin. Be sure to eat foods rich in antioxidants and vitamins A, B,C and E. Vitamin c taken internally or topically on face is great for boosting complexion since it is a natural skin brightener and great for maintaining youthful looking skin. Dark green vegetables, dairy products, berries and fish are also vital for youthful looking skin.

2. Exfoliation
Exfoliation is an age old method used to brighten skin. Ancient Egyptians used exfoliation to remove dull and dead skin and reveal the new skin. There are many exfoliating products available in the market, including scrubs as well as chemical peels.

7. Almonds: Soak 4 almonds overnight in a little water. Grind into a fine paste using milk. Apply on face and neck and leave it overnight. Wash with cold water in the morning. Do this daily.

4. Water
Last but not the least; water is very important for hydrating the body and skin. Drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day will help your skin feeling soft and supple.
