A Prayer Request - St. Joseph ~ Ora Pro Nobis

Wanted to ask for a little help from my readers. If you could be so kind an please storm heaven tonight regarding my employment status I would be most grateful. It is somewhat urgent for a couple of reasons.

As an update, I have been out of work for a bit due to the fact that I am not yet able to be licensed in the state we live in. This has been frustrating because I have been told I am "over-qualified" [says them, not me] for other positions that I have been applying for outside of my field. This has left me without a job for several months and that makes paying the bills difficult. We have embraced this period and really tried to prayerfully determine what God wants from us and where we need to be. I don't want to give you my whole sob story, so I will leave it at that.

We are at the point now where we really need something and a few random things have presented themselves but they seem to be in a very different direction than we were looking. This is fine with us, but it kind of came out of the blue. Either way, nothing is guaranteed and we need your prayers.

Thanks.

Dear Saint Joseph,
you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary.
Look down with fatherly compassion upon me in my anxiety over my present inability to support my family.
Please help me to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from my heart and that I am soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care.
Help us to guard against bitterness and discouragement, so that we may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God.
Amen.
