An MBA is only 14 months away with the Rutgers MBA in Professional Accounting. The first of its kind in the world, this program integrates management skills with accounting theory and practice. This 65-credit degree includes course work, teamwork, computer work, case studies, and final team projects.  Calculus and statistics may be required in this program if it was not completed at the undergraduate level.
The program begins in late May and concludes in mid August of the following year.  Students are eligible to sit for the CPA examination following graduation. ASTER OF ACCOUNTANCY IN FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
Generally, applicants should apply during their senior year of college using the Online ApplicationMASTER OF ACCOUNTANCY IN TAXATIONIdeal candidates for the program, which is administered on a part-time basis, should hold a bachelor's or master's degree with an accounting background, or have practiced in the area of taxation.  Candidates must meet the admissions requirements of Rutgers Business School: Graduate Programs — Newark and New Brunswick including a grade point average of 3.0 or better, and a GMAT score falling in the top one-third. Candidates do not need to have calculus and statistics as pre-requisites. The GMAT may be waived in certain instances if the candidate is a CPA.   Admission to the Rutgers-Newark School of Law is not a requirement for admission to the program..
