Weathermen make me...

...so angry. Actually, the entire meteorological profession irks me.

My dad always said: "You want a good job? Become a weatherman... you get to be on TV, women adore you, and you have to dress up in suits everday. Plus... you can suck at your job, and nobody cares!"

He was right! The weather forecast in Alaska is a FARCE! I don't know how they predict the weather, or what methods they use... but they are ALL WRONG. One day they will say, "Snow tomorrow, 1-3 inches." The next morning the forecast is, "Cold, some flurries south of the area, no accumulation." I know that the ocean, mountains, and cold fronts change things... but by now we should have about a foot of snow, based on forecasts... we have 1.5" I know that the rest of the world has the same problem... but it seems particularly arbitrary here. We are supposed to have 3-5" on the ground by morning. Let's see if that happens...

Seriously...these guys smile a bit and just MAKE STUFF UP and people have crushes on them and put them on tv... where is the justice!!!
