General Manager, Tribal Fusion Division (San Francisco Bay Area)

Tribal Fusion is the largest division within the Exponential suite of businesses. We are seeking a person to become the General Manager. This is a newly created position, and this individual will lead the sales, marketing, publisher, and operational activities with full profit and loss responsibility. This position will work closely with the CEO, CFO, CTO, and the General Manager of the Performance Group to provide the day-to-day execution to grow and develop the Tribal Fusion business. Reporting to the General Manager of Tribal Fusion will be the Vice Presidents of Sales, Strategic Marketing, Advertiser Services and Network Development. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer of Exponential and is based in our Emeryville, California office.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the revenue and profitability of Tribal Fusion

• Develop highly competent and successful business leaders and teams; attract great talent, train and inspire exceptionally high quality performance

• Guide the expansion of the advertiser and publisher base though new advertiser acquisition, increased revenue with existing advertisers and expansion of product offerings

• Achieve gross margin targets, revenue goals and profitability expectations

• Direct new product and technology deployments in a “rapid-to-market” approach with an intuitive, well planned and entrepreneurial advance

• Work seamlessly with the all Exponential businesses, their leaders and teams to achieve synergies among all divisions

Requirements:

• A proven track record as a senior level leader in the Internet space

• A facility to be very strategic while effectively tackling significant details in a focused, results oriented, tactical fashion

• Outstanding leadership and people skills with the ability to inspire a team to fulfill all the varied dimensions and disciplines required in an established division

• Collaborative, savvy and charismatic, with the know-how to inspire advertisers and publishers, vendors and partners, team members and colleagues

• Systematic and disciplined in execution and follow-though across a wide spectrum of variables in a fast moving business model

• Ability to forge high level business relationships

• 4+ years in operational leadership within the Internet space

• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally as necessary

• Impeccable character, values and integrity

• Undergraduate degree. MBA preferred
