For more information, visit our Web site at www.944.com.This position works with the local sales team in pursuing advertisement sales for our local publication.Responsibilities* Attend weekly sales meetings.* Generate local sales leads.* Cold calling local businesses to establish relationships.* Generate appointments.* Travel to clientele office for business meetings/negotiations.* Frequent follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.* Accurately inputting and updating information on clients and new sales made into the Company’s database systems in a timely manner.* Communicate sponsorship and branding opportunities to current clientele as they arise.* Submit daily report to sales director.* Network at company events.* Generate sales proposal presentations.* Attain clientele advertisements before press deadline and submit to production staff.* Achieve sales goals determined by sales director.RequirementsQualifications* 3-5 years in publishing sales or similar industry.* Degree in business, sales, marketing or similar field preferred, but not required.* Must possess reliable transportation.* Working knowledge of Internet and basic MS Office applications.PAY: We offer competitive base salary and commission structureBENEFITS: 401K, Dental, Health, Commission, Bonuses
