Job Description
P.H. 8442 is a showroom and concept store on Melrose place that features vintage couture and modern luxury fashion. P.H. 8442 is currently seeking a stylist to drive sales and assist with clientele. Responsibilities include:
- Outreach to clients on an ongoing basis to develop & maintain relationships
- Sales & customer service in showroom, often styling looks for clientele
- Assist head buyer to coordinate merchandise and delivery when necessary
Skills
- Sharp eye and keen knowledge of the history of fashion
- Ability to create unique looks using vintage and modern elements
- Understanding of the sales process
- Ability to connect and communicate with customers and demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Highly responsible and professional
- Existing client base is a plus

Experience
- 1-3 years in luxury fashion sales or styling with a proven track record of success
Schedule
− 30-35 hours per week, Wed-Sat. Some flexibility to work evenings if necessary.

Salary & commission based on experience.

Fashion Showroom Administrative Assistant (Santa Monica)

International Fashion Company with Showroom in Santa Monica is seeking a well-organized and self-motivated Showroom Assistant.

Responsibilities will include:

• Answering phone calls from clients and vendors
• Distributing phone messages, mail, packages and faxes
• Handling all outbound mailings and packages
• Faxing, scanning and pricing requests from vendors
• Filing and billing duties
• Maintaining office supplies
• Helping to keep warehouse and showroom organized
• Organizing and maintaining sales supplies
• Assembling press kits
• Providing administrative support to the president, office manager, and head of sales
• Being proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator is a plus


MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SHOWROOM EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will be well organized, self-motivated, communicative, team-orientated, fashion interested and able to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline based environment. A good phone manner is essential, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office, Mac OS X, File Maker and email.

We are looking for an experienced candidate to occupy our full-time showroom position. At least 2-3 years of full time showroom/fashion industry experience is necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity for an applicant with outstanding fashion contacts to work in-house with our PR team. You will be a creative strategic thinker with a love for fashion. It is essential that you have previous experience gained within a Fashion/Entertainment environment and strong event management skills to succeed in this role.

Excellent people person and business etiquette – ability to relate to and engage people
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong self-starter, ability to work independently, self-manage time and priorities, ability to work with a team locally and remotely
Open to learning and growing independently and from feedback
Act as gatekeeper for all samples.
Manage and maintain organization of sample room
Own and keep track of all marketing samples including those for editorial, trade shows, events, shoots, showroom and style outs.
