Build Your Network Marketing Business-Keep Your People or DIE!

One of the skills that every rep in a network marketing business opportunity must learn is how to sucessfully build a team who has a nice steady flow of sponsoring and gathering of retail customers. The second most important skill a distributor must learn to do is keep their people or die!


"How" you may be saying?! It's true that in mlm or any work at home opportunity, sometimes things go kinda like a parade. People join. People quit. Some sign up and others never even get started. However, to see long term succuss, when you do find the coachable and qualified opportunity seekers who are ready to join, you as a coach or mentor must make sure you are doing a couple of things to keep that person.


1. Make sure you choose a home based business opportunity with products that make a real difference in the lives of your people. You see, network marketing is truly a relationship business and a testimonial business. In other words, for your team's word of mouth advertising to be effective and successful, they must have a strong testimonial for the products they enjoy and like.



2. Your work from home mlm opportunity must offer tremendous value to the end consumer which in turn will help you create a very attractive and profitable income. Remember too the value YOU offer always will include much more than your products as well.

3. Take time to get to know your team. Discover what motivates them and what they really want. Help them create their "why" which will keep them going through the ups and downs that will occur in any business. If you value them and they truly feel this, they will forever be part of your team. They will always view you as a special, trusted friend and confidante.


Remember, you are always looking for someone who is looking for you. If you keep this in mind and follow these steps, you will find your retention of your team will dramatically increase.

Every distributor realizes that to have a successful network marketing business, having leads to present their product, service, or business opportunity is a must.

As a rep for a work from home business opportunity, you know your business would die without these mlm business leads.

One of the keys that is crucial for a successful home based business is being consistent. One area you must be consistent in is using the marketing tools that work best for you. You must learn how to attract fresh mlm leads for your income opportunity.  Knowing how to market can help get you there.

If you are marketing online, it is important to learn how to get targeted traffic to your site. You must have a splash page that works. This page must include a way for you to capture a person's contact information so they can be what we call an opt-in lead. In other words, they have agreed that you can contact them.

So, what you are looking for is a nice steady stream of fresh mlm leads. To get these leads, you can  use a variety of marketing resources such as blogging, creating free online newsletters, video marketing, article marketing, pay per click, social networking, joint ventures, SEO, etc. The list is just about endless.

The best way to get started is to choose a marketing method that you like and learn to use it very well. In other words, learn all the inside tricks of the trade and how to comfortably present your work at home business opportunity before branching out. This will take some time and effort, but it will be worth it in the long run.

If you learn how to use at least one online marketing strategy effectively, you will see not only the quantity of your mlm busimess leads increase, but also the quality.

Most reps know how sometimes it can be difficult to achieve their goals in a  multi-level marketing opportunity. They may not realize that if they join a pre-launch opportunity, they can be shooting themself in the foot and increase the liklihood of constantly having to start over. You see, it's very important to consider if the company you as a potential rep are looking to join has passed the "early failure" timeline. -Has the company been around for 2 years"? 99% don't last 2 years!

-Most distributors don't make money for the first 2 year period while all the bumps are ironed out. Are you willing to go that long with no pay?

-Has the company been around so long the momentum phase is long past?

-Does the company's products have good profit margins? You getting paid 5%, 8%, etc. of the wholesale cost isn't good!

Yes, there are many who stuggle in network marketing. And some of the problem very well could be because people do not pay attention to timing. I encourage you to do so. Your pocket book will be glad you did!
