Really wish I could type this on my Mac, but alas my phone will do for now and I will expand later.
A lot of talk on Catholic blogs, in recent months, has focused on the efficacy and protocol for Catholic blogs. Since the Vatican invited bloggers to Rome - a sort of acceptance and validation has been assumed by blogs. I think this is rightfully so. I think if you were to ask bloggers most would say they play an important, albeit small, role in todays Church.
That being said, every blogger blogs for a different purpose. Some for personal reflection and growth, some for fame, some for money, some for reform, some out of boredom, some out of frustration- but regardless of the reason most Catholics are ultimately trying to uphold the kingdom of God. So what confuses me is when Blogs "eat" other blogs, and I don't mean through blog wars. What I mean is when bigger blogs take and eat up smaller blog posts.
I am not saying that BIG blogs should be a PR service for little blogs, but I feel like there should be a little more love shared between blogs. We are trying to spread the truth, and the more we spread the love... the easier that becomes.
Ill expand on this more eventually.
