I don't even know what to think. Well I do, but I think taking less than 24hrs to think and pray about it isn't enough.
That being said plenty of bloggers were quick to jump on the "Corapi has issues" train. Bloggers post their opinion... that's what they do. But they aren't psychological experts, but you wouldn't know that from these posts. So far I have seen him diagnosed with disorders, drug addictions, under-medicated and all sorts of other things. I have also seen folks project all sorts of personality pathologies upon him.
Look, I think its fair to judge his actions, but to project other things on him is a bit much. It's speculation and gossip. I was a fan of his message, the old one, and still am to some degree. So call me a flag waver- I am just trying to be charitable. I don't mind anyone judging his actions but that should be the line.
I think Corapi needs our prayers, and obviously he is handling this in a very disappointing way for many of us. But that doesn't give us a green light to tear him down in speculative ways. We need to deal in truth and not speculation and assumption. It is one thing to say that his actions are ridiculous but unless you have an MD or PhD it really isn't your place to be diagnosing him. Your time would be better spent praying for him.
