The Unified CPA Examination is the only licensed qualification in accounting. As such it is no simple task to pass the exam. It takes months and for many sometimes years to achieve a passing grade in all of the testing categories.

3. Consider the courses customer service. Make sure that if you have questions that you can actually call a human or get an answer in a reasonable amount of time online. Some courses charge extra for support, so include that in your decision.
4. This is a highly competitive industry. Don't assume that what one course says about another is fact. Check it out for yourself. I'm not saying that they will flat out lie to you but they may not be completely fair to their competition.
5. Consider this as an investment. You are investing not only in the cost of the course and the exam fees. You are also investing a significant amount of time and energy. Your social life will be seriously affected as well.
