The best way to become militant in our faith is to dive into prayer. The Rosary, Chaplets, Liturgy of the Hours, the Little Office, Novenas, and Daily Mass. There must be rigor to it, and there must be an execution with efficiency. We expect our faith to just "grow in us", surely God will do all the heavy lifting, but we cant expect him to "work" while we sit around waiting for something to just "happen."
