Add Favicon in a Blog or Website

Favicon is a small sized icon associated with your blog URL and are shown beside you blog address in internet browsers such as Mozille Firefox. A Favicon gives your blog/website a brand-graphics and display the theme of your blog/website. Favicon are in 16×16 or 32×32 in width and height. Favicon works as a brand-graphics or logo and also used as a commutative icon. People also tend to recognize the websites by their favicons like from its fav icon we come to know that thats Google and from we recognize that its Yahoo!.

Adding a Favico is a good step which not only add an extra value to your blog/website but also helps people to identify your website by favicon. There are two type of favicons

2. Animated Favicon

How to Add a Favicon in Your Blog or Website ?

• Login to Your Blogger Account

• On Your Dashboard, Click on Layout (see below shown picture for further assistance)

• Now Click on HTML (see below shown picture for further assistance)

• Place Below Given Code just after </title>

<link href=’UPLOAD FAVICON URL‘ rel=’icon’ type=’images/x-icon’/>

Note: Replace UPLOAD FAVICON URL with your Original Favicon URL

• Now, Just SAVE TEMPLATE and open your blog to check results.
