What I am proposing is something highly different. I am advocating teaching lessons where failure is highly probable. I am advocating forcing our children to encounter failure and then forcing them to overcome it. Seem counterintuitive? Well it isn’t, and in fact it ends up reaping some pretty big benefits in the end.

Also, I have a request... I need some ideas for topics to write about in the Battle Ready series. I have this odd problem where I have a great idea for a post, and then I go to write it and it escapes me because I think of it while out hiking, hunting, or some other far off and remote place. So I was hoping if my readers could give me topics to cover for my weekly feature over there I'd appreciate it.
