Thoughts about translations...

I will expand on this thought more later but I am curious to know what you all think.

Why does it seem that there are U.S. Bishops that are willing to "re-translate" the Bible we use in what they consider their best "way" and yet some of those same Bishops are against the new Missal translation? I don't think it is just about style, technique or process.

Thoughts?
