Choosing The Right Accountant For You

Finding an accountant can be hard, there are those your friends recommend to you and there are those whose expertise you've sought out in the past. But why not look for a new one? In this article I will look at the advantages of finding a new accountant and what it could mean for your business if you did.
Let me tell you my story, I had been with the same accountant for years and we had built up a certain level of trust with him and everything was going fine up until a friend of mine had recommended a new accountant in town who provided a service which he described as second to none. It was with some hesitancy that I moved towards leaving my current accountant and going with the man my friend recommended in Leeds. Well what can I say? It was the best decision I ever made. My accounts have never been managed so efficiently.
So what about you? You could be in the market for your first one or you could -like me- have found somebody you thought who provided an adequate enough job for you, but are you really happy with the service they provide? As with all things I recommend shopping around to find not only the best deal but the man or woman who fits your company and your personality best, after all your shareholders will thank you for the effort you put into the finding the right person for the job in the end.
