Pro-Abort Governors & their shameful Bishops

There is a lot going on in the Catholic world, and it isn't always pretty. The American Papist, Thomas Peters, has a post over at his blog about some shameful happenings with Pro-Abortion Catholic governors and the shameful Bishops that support them.

Apparently new, New York governor Andrew Cuomo attended Mass this weekend and received Communion although there are a multitude of reasons why he shouldn't. The worst part is that the priest presiding was Bishop Howard Hubbard. The Papist explains:
"...whenever a bishop clouds the Church’s clear teaching on the life and dignity of the unborn, and whenever he gives Communion to a politician of prominence who is clearly violating the precepts of the Church (and God), scandal is caused among the faithful and the Church’s moral witness is harmed. There simply aren’t “two ways” of living our faith. Failing to mention the egregious disregard for the unborn exhibited by Cuomo and Duffy is the wrong way to express our faith."
Mr. Peters is continuing to update this story as more information comes in, and it appears that this isn't the only Pro-Abort Catholic governor making "Communion waves" this weekend. Of course the CatholicVote guys are on top of it.
