I came across a great quote from a army soldier that has a smart lesson for all entrepreneurs using conventional or Internet marketing to help their businesses succeed.
A successful marketer is not the one with a lot of sales, a successful marketer is the one that use it's marketing efforts to position their business as a valuable resource in the marketplace.
This quote have a wonderful lesson you should use in business and in life. Here it is:
"Never underestimate your opponent or overestimate yourself. Always be realistic, prepared, and never be without a contingency plan. If you attempt to ignore unpleasant facts or situation by burying your head in the sand like an ostrich, your rear will be exposed and readily visible by your foe. And that is exactly where you will feel the strike of his boot."
Remember that. A great competitor is not the one with the biggest marketing budget, instead is the one that learn how to deliver its message in a remarkable way!
And can you be remarkable? Simple:
- Be resourceful.
- Provide value.
- Be unique.
- Make innovation a culture.
- Create strong business relationships.
- Educate your audience.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
I hope this post can help you focus on becoming a remarkable marketer starting this holiday. Make Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years to be the beginning of something FANTASTIC in your business and in your life.
Yours truly,
