Objective: The Product Development Coordinator will manage the development of the
brand products as directed by management, including product concept, interacting with
vendors, buyers, and management, project and timeline management, quality assurance,
sample library maintenance and package and artwork development.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for development and tracking of new product concepts
• Work with Creative Director and Production/Product Development Manager to
ensure the products are innovative and timely
• Maintain a strong understanding of the global cosmetics business and strive to
develop innovative, individual products that gives the company a point of difference
• Possess the necessary mix of creativity and process to ensure projects are delivered
in a timely manner
• Update product briefs daily including benchmarks for each project.
• Assure long term product development planning and strategy
Job Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3+ years of product development in cosmetic/beauty industry
experience required
• Good collaboration skills
• Goal-oriented, proactive, able to multi-task, strong organizational skills and
attention to detail
• Highly creative with a strong sense of brand awareness
• Able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment
